Branham Scholarship 2018
Sessums Law Group, P.A. is proud to be a Lead Sponsor of the Branham Scholarship again this year. Started to remember and recognize Janette Seamans Branham, the scholarship provides one deserving student with a full 2-year degree from South Florida State College. Janette was committed to seeing this dream of supporting young adults in their pursuit of higher education become a reality, and had shared this goal with friends and acquaintances before her untimely death. Now, those who remember her strive to step up and make sure her mission is accomplished, and we are proud to play a part in this vital piece of the Highlands County community.
Sessums Law Group has committed to giving $2,500 annually to the scholarship fund as part of Plan 2022. The plan is essentially a 7-year goal to make the scholarship into a permanent endowment, and thanks to fellow supporters of this cause, the Highlands County Bar Foundation has met their $10,000 target each year since 2016. Mark A. Sessums was recognized at this year’s HCBF 3rd Annual Gala for his ongoing support of the cause, and we look forward to being a part of this cause for years to come.
