At Sessums Law Group, we believe in the importance of giving back to the community that supports us, and one way we do that each year is through the 5K Pro Bono River Run. This event, put on by Hillsborough County Bar Association, is a great time to connect with other law professionals in the Tampa Bay area, and support a great cause. Lawyers can pledge pro bono hours on behalf of a runner (even if it’s themselves) who are participating in the 5K race. These hours help those in need of legal representation in the local community. For those wishing to participate, it’s important to note that the pro bono hours must be completed by February of 2019.
Another fun portion of the River Run is the annual Judicial Pig Roast following the race. Law firms can sponsor a booth for this event, and this year Sessums Law Group is bringing a little eastern flair to Tampa with a booth featuring fresh sushi, custom chopsticks, and plenty of fortune cookies! Stop by and see us and enjoy a little bit of Asian cuisine while you’re here. There’s no better way to refresh yourself and take a breather after a long run, and we’d love to see you so we can say hello. The Pig Roast is a wonderful time for lawyers throughout the Tampa Bay area connect with other legal representatives and network through socializing and enjoying some great food.
